On November 12th, starting at 6 p.m. production Windows systems will have security patches and other updates applied as necessary. Each server may need to be rebooted one or more times to apply all updates. Each reboot will impact the server for up to ten minutes.

On Friday, 11/13/2009, from 3:00 AM to 6:59 AM, the IT Networks & Security Data Team will be upgrading a portion of the BoilerNet network to meet the new Purdue Network 2010 standard. Specifically the network will be upgraded in South Campus Courts - Building E (SCCE) and the Service Building (SERV).
AFFECTED CLIENTS: Clients within SCCE and SERV should plan to experience disruption of both wired network connectivity (via data PIC) and wireless network connectivity (via PAL/PAL2.0).
SCOPE OF WORK: During the scheduled outage window, affected clients in SCCE should plan to experience service disruptions for up to 1.5 hours in duration and affected clients in SERV should plan to experience service disruptions for up to 2 hours in duration.
